Lehigh Valley Beer Week is calling out to all homebrewers to 'show us what ya got' at the 3rd annual craft beer festival and homebrewer's competition.

BE OUR BREWER FOR A DAY FESTIVAL 2015

Join us for an afternoon of tastings, samplings and judging homebrewed craft beers from the Valley's best homebrewers! Be a part of the fun - you, the fans, get to judge the winning brew. Enjoy food sampling from Lehigh Valley Restaurants participating in Lehigh Valley Beer Week 2016.

Local homebrewers will pour their best brew as Lehigh Valley Beer Week fans come out to taste and pick their favorite. The favorite beer of the masses will be brewed in January 2016, and become LVBW4 as it’s released on the opening day of Lehigh Valley Beer Week, 2016 and will be available at area restaurants, pubs and distributors during Lehigh Valley Beer Week 2016.

TICKETS

$20 PRESALE $25 at the door. 21 and older only. Tickets are required for entrance. Ticket holders will get to sample more than 50 homebrew samples and vote for their favorite beer! Get your tickets online and save!

Tickets are non-refundable. Ticket proceeds will be given to Lehigh Valley Beer Week a 501c6 organization.

THE PROUD WINNER will become Lehigh Valley Beer Week's 'Brewer for a Day' - brewing the winning ale alongside Fegley's Brew Works Brewmaster - capping off their experience with a complimentary meal, plenty of swag, and beer tasting session at the Allentown Brew Works.

Details... all homebrew applications must be received no later then September 1st, 2015. Fegley's Brew Works will release this beer as "LVBW4"  for Lehigh Valley Beer Week 2016. Participating Lehigh Valley Beer Week pubs and restaurants interested in carrying "LVBW4" may contact [email protected] for distribution.

Past 'Brewer for a Day' Winners...

LVBW3 Tapped February 2015 - Lehigh Valley Beer Week was proud to announce that Jim Yergey is the 2014 “Be Our Brewer for a Day” Homebrew Competition and Craft Beer Festival champion! Nearly 300 attendees sipped and sampled their way around the August 23rd festival at theAllentown Brew Works, carefully filled out ballots, and chose Yergey’s imperial IPA “Hoptileitious” the victor.

LVBW2 Tapped February, 2014 - John Boncik took the win for his Wheat IPA brewed with wheat and pale malts hopped with citra, centennial and cascade hops. LVBW2 came in at 1.058 O.G., 60 IBU, and 6% ABV. Congratulations!

LVBW1 Tapped February, 2013 - Congratulations to Michael Sexton and his Black Eye Rye P.A.!!! The winner of Fegley's Brew Works Brewer of a Day Competition! This beer will be brewed at the Allentown Brew Works and released as LVBW1 on the kick off day to Lehigh Valley Beer Week, Feb 11th, 2013.
